Ah I love Nicky Gumbel. I read his book "Challenging Lifestyle" and I strongly recommend it. Its among the best books I've ever read.

I went to London a few weeks ago and visited his church, but unfortunately he wasnt there. Would have been awesome to see him, he's a really good author.

To go with what the OP said, I was chatting to this girl on facebook that did not know Christ. I told her that Christianity is more of a relationship with Christ than a religion, which she totally rebuked. Her argument was that you can't have a relationship with a dead guy.

That is so wrong. God's not dead, he's truly alive. He's living on the inside, and roaring like a lion!
(Kudos to you if you know the song I got that from!)
