Video Clips? Help!

Post by NeoJabez » March 6th, 2017, 4:26 am

I would like to formally request that all streamers, game video recorders, montage makers and the like to please throw out some possible footage from games.

I want to put together a very updated, ACTION PACKED 'trailer' for the Christian Crew, and I would like really great footage from ANY GAMES we play, even single-player.

So, for example, Crosser...You have some great footage that's funny, but can you possibly edit and toss up a very short video of just seriously good goal shots from RL? Maybe someone who plays TF2 or Ark, or any of our other games could toss out some great stuff?

My go to example for this sort of thing is this little recording I did from Need For Speed: Most Wanted, where I go from like 7th place, to 1st at the last second. (By jumping 2nd place!) This clip is actually WAY LONGER than the types of shots I plan to use, I would probably cut this down to 1 or 2 seconds for the trailer.

If we can get a huge miasma of all kinds of gameplay, I want to make a really exciting montage of it all. Can anyone help?

I "might" be able to help. I actually delete a lot of the raw gaming footage I record once I upload a video because it takes up so much storage collecting all those clips. However, I could try to record some new clip footage since a lot of us have gotten better at Rocket League now. Also, I could always download some of the stuff I've uploaded and reuse some of that footage.

Long story short, I'll see what I can do. :)

Thanks Crossey...

I just want it to be the best of the best, if possible. If people are flying or shooting, I want the stuntiest, wildest, awesome shots. If people are knocking a ball towards a goal, I want it to be the greatest aerial they've ever hit, that sort of thing.

More than likely, a Google Drive. It's the easiest. It's very simple to get a gmail account, and from there a Drive account can be shared with lots of people. You could upload your work to a Drive, and then email me the share links at neo@ccgaming.com

If this isn't feasible, I could look into other possibilities.

I have 43 min recording of my view during a Rocket League night. I'll see if I can't edit it down into a short version with some nice shots.

recorded some dirtybomb to see if windows 10's default screen capture was up to snuff. Don't have any video editing software, know of any so I don't have to send an hour of gameplay?

Well, the long answer would be that there are dozens of video editing programs out there, they all have pros and cons, but...

Do you have VLC Media Player?

If you do, you don't need a video editor to cut videos down to size.

Just check out this video:

Besides, VLC is a great program to have for it's own reasons. If this isn't good enough, let me know, and I'll put together a list of actual editors you can try.
