Thanks very much for a very useful post. I would be much grateful to you if you just help me a little more. As you said, there are lots and lots of other tutorial and that is a problem for me. I've read this one (Self Employed Gamer) but this is mostly about earning money. It helped but I'm still having trouble for streaming.

Can you give me some kind of suggestions or something to take a look? Thanks

What part of the streaming process are you having the most trouble with? Is it quality, network, understanding of the software? Could you simplify your question to specific areas?

For a long time I was streaming at 1080p 60 fps 3,500 bit rate AND after about a year went by I realized that such a setting was not even available to me since I am not a Twitch partner. I now run my stream at 720p 30 fps 3,000 bit rate because that might be the best I can get out it with not being a partner.

This is something to keep in mind since Twitch will not give you the keys to the house just because you started streaming. PLUS when you stream at lower settings you do not take such a huge hit in your games, especially if you are streaming online fps games.

Twitch just recently updated their streaming requirements, increasing the maximum bitrate to 6Mbps, so I've updated the first post accordingly.
Please note that it's still a good idea to try to keep the video bandwidth in the 2-3Mbps range to reach the largest audience possible, but for those streaming a very high movement first-person game at 1080p (or more) you now have more bandwidth available to you. :)

Thanks Sam! I would probably not have known, if you hadn't posted, and bumped! Thanks!
