books / recommended books

I hereby open up a "new" section in the forum. I'm not entirely sure how it should look like though ...

I'm curious about various books you guys and gals have read which you also would recommend other people to read. It doesn't matter if it's a book for children, a science book, something for a specific audience, etc ... I enjoy reading in general but don't always make enough time for it I have to confess. So I sometimes read a lot, sometimes very little, sometimes hardly anything ...

Will we need a sub-section some time too maybe to talk about various books or would that be too much? ... also ... Can we try and do it spoiler-free, I wonder?

P.S.: You don't necessarily need to be a bibliophile to post something here :D

I read The Chronicles of Narnia the Last Battle this year to my class and really enjoyed it.
