Thanks for the clarification on the hat Hudbus! Sometimes the pics are hard to tell what the items are for sure. ^_^ I'll make that change. And yes, I believe Hat Fortess 2 would be an appropriate name for this game now LOL! Cosmetics are life! (Not really) :D

Image Merasmus

This is PYRASMUS! His Heavy is wearing the Skull Island Topper. This hat is an unlockable cosmetic item for all classes. It's a ram's skull that is missing the left horn and has the right eye intact which wobbles around as the player moves. The Skull Island Topper is the hat worn by Merasmus. The hat tracks the highest level of the wizard that the player helped to defeat. The Skull Island Topper can be obtained by earning the "A Lovely Vacation Spot" Necromannchievement by reaching the hat on Skull Island in Ghost Fort, after defeating Merasmus. This hat was added to the game on October 26, 2012 during the Spectral Halloween Special. Like other Halloween hats, the level of this hat is 31, a reference to the Halloween day, October 31st.

Image

On PYRASMUS's Heavy chest you'll notice the Spirit Of Giving. It's an all-class small grey x-ray machine attached to each class's chest. The machine has a green, phosphorescent screen featuring a beating heart and bubbles. It was distributed to all players who had logged in during the Australian Christmas 2011 event and had further logged in during or after the December 21, 2011 Patch. Premium members were also given a Secret Saxton, in addition to the Spirit Of Giving. This item tracks the number of gifts distributed by the player via Secret Saxtons, Piles o' Gifts, Random RoboKey Gifts, and Piles of RoboKey Gifts. Each gift given will increase the counter displayed.
Image
You'll notice also that PYRASMUS is using an Unusual Festive Brick House Mini Gun that is oddly like my Mini Gun... That's because it IS MY GUN! One of the features updated in Team Fortress 2 is the Weapon Pick Up from other players. I believe it was somewhere near August of 2015 when Valve created the option to pick up weapons dropped by other players in death. You can only pick up weapons that are for your class or all-class weapons can be picked up by anyone. When in-game if you run across a weapon laying on the ground, if it's highlighted - you can pick it up to use and your own weapon will be discarded on the ground for another player to use. "H" is the default key to pick up a weapon from the ground. Be aware when you pick up another weapon from the ground though, because it may be out of ammo or if it's a medi-gun it could have a full uber ready on it! Also a Medic weapon dropped that has a charge on it - will continually drain the charge if not picked up right away untill the charge reads Zero percent.

This is Agent Pineapple! On Pineapple's head is the Co-Pilot. It's a community-created cosmetic item for all classes. The Co-Pilot is a team-colored pilot's hat with goggles strapped around it. It was added to the game December 22, 2014 during the Smissmas 2014 event.

Image

Next you'll notice Pineapple's shoulder armor. The Shogun's Shoulder Guard is a community-created cosmetic item only for the Soldier. A Shogun is the term for a military leader in Japan. This item consists of several parts of Japanese samurai armour, which include a team-colored left shoulder guard (sode), a team-colored left forearm guard (kote) and a brown plate (tekko) that covers the back of the Soldier's left hand and features his class icon. Although it would be possible to make this item cover both shoulders, the creator stated that asymmetry looks better and more interesting to him, and the right shoulder guard would greatly clip with Soldier's primary weapons. The Shogun's Shoulder also changes the Soldier's default undershirt to a paintable shirt that is usually worn underneath the Samurai armor.

The item description... "The next time some bleeding heart cries on your shoulder about the state of the environment, he can slam his tear ducts into the Shogun. This shoulder is CLOSED!" references Japan's previous longstanding closed door policy. This item was added on July 10, 2013 during the Summer 2013 Event.

Image

You'll notice Pineapple has a furry friend on his side. Lieutenant Bites is a community-created cosmetic item only for the Soldier. He is one of the many pet raccoons of the Soldier seen in the Doom-Mates comic, with glowing blue eyes, that is biting the ammo pouch on the right side of his belt and that swings about as he walks. When players equipped with this item kill an enemy unassisted by another player, the killfeed shows everyone in Pyroland that it gets the assist with its custom name if it has one.
Image
This is Pineapple's Soldier Rocket Launcher. The Rocket Launcher is the default primary weapon for the Soldier. It's a typical rocket-propelling device with a protruding metal side and a wide exhaust port. The launcher can hold up to four loaded rockets and fires them as projectiles at a speed of around 1100 Hammer units per second, roughly 47 mph from an off-angle, starting on the right hand side of the crosshair and travelling to the centre. The trajectory of these rockets are not affected by gravity. They will travel in a straight line until exploding on contact with any surface or player. Rockets inflict damage in a set splash radius. The damage inflicted decreases the further the distance from the center of the explosion. Normal rockets have significant damage falloff over long distances, while critical rockets suffer no such falloff. Upon a kill, players will most likely explode into gibs.

This Rocket Launcher has a Factory New (no paint scratches) Blue Mew paint design on it and it's also a Festive version so it has the Christmas Lights wrapping the barrel. It's a Commando Grade weapon with Killstreaks active. This cool Rocket Launcher will keep track of your kills each round till death. At the end of round it retains the count of your highest kill streak before death. If you happen to have the highest kill streak count at the end of round and your team wins, your name will be displayed on the score board for everyone to see along with the names of the top 3 players on the winning team.

This is Crater Labs! You'll notice his manly facial hair. The Cuban Bristle Crisis is a community-created cosmetic item for 3 classes - the Soldier, Heavy, and Engineer. It's a neatly kept beard and mustache. The beard connects up to the hairline. A cigar rests on his lips, similar to the Soldier's Stogie. The item's name is a reference to the Cuban Missile Crisis, a confrontation in 1962 between the USSR and the United States during the Cold War. The cosmetic itself is based off of the famous Cuban dictator, Fidel Castro, who had a neat, trim beard and was fond of smoking cigars. The Cuban Bristle Crisis was added to the game on October 10, 2013 during the Fall Event 2013.

Image

On Crater Lab's chest you'll see a badge. The Operation Oil Spill Badge is a cosmetic item for all classes. It's earned by completing your first mission of the "Operation Oil Spill" Tour of Duty in Mann Up mode. This badge keeps track of a player's progress through the various Mann vs. Machine missions. The badge's level will increase based on the amount of times you've completed the challenges in Mann Up mode (level 100 requires completion of 594 missions). This was added to the game on October 9, 2012.
Image
Image

Lastly look at Crater's weapon. The Rescue Ranger is a community-created primary weapon only for the Engineer. It resembles the normal Shotgun, but has a small, permanently turned on monitor mounted on its top in the location a scope is typically found which shows a moving sine wave. The monitor is connected to an either yellow or orange box at the end of the barrel with a team-colored light on its end.

Image

While the Rescue Ranger is the Engineer's active weapon, it's able to pick up any of his buildings that are in his direct line of sight from long range, at the cost of 100 Metal. Hauling a building in this way will immediately teleport the building into the Engineer's possession with a team-colored flash, and leaves a tracer beam that temporarily notifies others of the user's location. This weapon also fires unique bolts instead of bullets, which repair 60 health to friendly buildings that they are fired at with no Metal cost. Note that these shots will only repair the building, and not restock ammo, apply upgrades, or damage attached enemy Sappers. Firing at a Teleporter will not repair the other side. The Rescue Ranger was added to the game on December 20, 2012 during the Mecha Update.

Nice! Thanks for the snapshot. :-)

That's an ominous angle for that Rescue Ranger. Nice camera work.

This is The Mighty Gerbil! On Gerbil's head you'll see the festive hat he's sporting. The Old Guadalajar is a community-created cosmetic item only for the Pyro. It's a large straw sombrero with orange and team-colored designs. If you paint this hat, it changes the color of the band around the top and the color around the rim of it. The zig-zag color underneath the rim does not change. Guadalajara is a city in western Mexico culturally associated with Mariachi singers, who are known for wearing large sombreros. The description for Gerbil's hat reads... "This hat adds spice to any occasion." Fun Fact, the Old Guadalajara is also worn by the Giant Flare Pyros in Mann Vs. Machine.
Image
On Gerbil's chest you'll notice a golden badge. The License to Maim is a promotional cosmetic item for all classes. It's the Freelance Police badge used by the characters Sam and Max. It has the words "Sam & Max Freelance Police" and a number one engraved upon it. A blue star with the scales of justice on it also appears centered on the badge. The License to Maim name is a wordplay on the character James Bond's License to Kill. The description reads... "And kill, and break, and smash, and bite. Mainly maim, though". This badge is awarded alongside the Lugermorph after defeating Max during a round of Poker Night at the Inventory. In the story line of the game, Max has brought these two items instead of cash to play Poker.

Image Image

On The Might Gerbil's strap you'll see 2 small orange bottles. The Professor's Pineapple is a promotional cosmetic item for the Soldier, Pyro, and Demoman. It's a variable amount of flask-shaped pineapple grenades filled with a mysterious glowing orange liquid which replaces the Soldier, Pyro, and Demoman's grenades. The flasks come in two shapes; spherical and conical. The grenades have the Quantum Conundrum "Q" insignia on them. This item was awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchase Quantum Conundrum on Steam before June 21, 2012.

Eeeek! Screenshots add 20 pounds! :p

That's my Flavor Bandito ensemble. Note his "Flavor Grenades" and sombrero to indicate "Bandito" status. Unlike other Banditos the Flavor Bandito NEEDS his stinkin' badge so he can inspect your dinner and abscond with all the flavors for his Mexican breakfast cereal. There are Flaming Fajitas, Blazing Burritos, Ignited Enchiladas and Torched Tacos in every bite. He's like Hamburglar but less creepy and more caliente. He'd get away with it too if it wasn't for those meddling kids but hey that's what the flamethrower is for!

I am Gerbil and I approve of this screenshot. You are lucky too I normally charge for 8 by 10 glossies.

This is Scorpius Sting! On his head he's wearing the Mann Co. Cap painted Noble Hatter's Violet, a purple shade. This cap is a promotional cosmetic item for all classes. It's normally an off-white baseball cap with a patch containing the Mann Co. logo and their motto; "We sell products and get in fights." The Mann Co. Cap is acquired after a player makes their first purchase from the in-game Mann Co. Store. Also, any item that a player with a free account buys will have their account upgraded to Premium status. The Mann Co. Cap was added to the game on September 30, 2010 during the Mann-Conomy Update.

Image

Scorpius also has The Pyrovision Goggles enabled. They are an all-classes cosmetic. They're a pair of goggles with round lenses and the term "Optical Mask" printed in between them, reminiscent of the Pyro's mask. Bits of the Pyroland landscape can be seen reflected on the lenses. When equipped, players are able to see in Pyrovision: map textures are replaced with those of Pyroland, gibs and pickups are replaced with their counterparts from birthday mode, other players' voices become high-pitched and laugh when injured or killed, and certain Pyroland-only weapons and miscellaneous items become visible or change model. The goggles were distributed in Vintage quality to all players who launched the game before July 5, 2012. A Unique version of the item can be awarded to the player by completing the "A Fresh Pair of Eyes" achievement by dominating a player who is wearing the goggles.

Image

On Scorpius's arms you'll notice a boney shirt sleeve. The Spooky Sleeves are a community-contributed cosmetic item for the Scout, Demoman, Heavy, Engineer, and Sniper. It's a black, long-sleeved sweatshirt with a skeleton design that is worn under the player character's normal shirt, complete with matching gloves. The Spooky Sleeves were added to the game on October 26, 2012 during the Spectral Halloween Special. Some players pair this item with the Spooky Shoes (also added Oct. 26, 2012) and other boney items.

Image Spooky Shoes

Lastly, you'll notice Scorpius's Heavy is in a picture taking pose. The Director's Vision is an action taunt for all classes. It can be obtained by completing the Replay Achievement "Star Of My Own Show". When executed, the player puts their arms out and forms a rectangle with their fingers. The description of this Taunt reads... "Equip this item in your Action Slot and press the Action button to tell your victims you are making a Replay of their pathetic demise to share with everyone." So smile for the camera!
