Seeing this gave me some guidance to make a map... so I started one I call "QuadrupleTree" (cs_quadtree). Here's a link to some screenshots I have taken thus far.

very nice, petrie, im no way near as good as that, but i love your map and the detail you put into it

Thanks for the kind words. This is my first real map. Did a couple small demo test type maps. I'm not happy with it, still got a long way to go. But I'm making progress! :)

I have beta1 of it up on a dedicated server for anyone who wants to try it out. 199.91.172.70

All feedback welcome. Some I'm considering
- A "sewer"/electrical wiring piping system underneath the map
- Adding obstacles along the longer hallways and in the court yard to make hiding a little easier from snipers
- Add an electrical kill switch

To Do:
- Make walls some of the wallsthicker
- Build 3d skybox so the map doesn't appear to just be floating in the sky

Make sure all walls that you don't want people to be able to shoot through are at least 16 units thick. Anything less and you can hit the person on the other side.
