Lotro Anniversary Time - Double XP!

Post by AttolloDeus » April 19th, 2011, 5:06 pm

http://www.lotro.com/news/latestnews/11 ... nniversary

Let's see if we can get some Lotro group stuff in this weekend. Double XP for all monster kills starts on Thursday and goes till Sunday! You'll definitely see me on, and I know most people only avoid it because they don't have people to play with.

You know what AD?? FINE! After incessantly posting about this game you finally have me convinced! (probably because I'm reading the books *again* at the moment) So the game is downloading right now. Let me know what server/realm/whatever I need to know and I'll see if i can't join in on the fun.

Lucifer was so beautiful, I wonder what really happened that day! You corrupted your wisdom for the sake of your splendor, All to have it stripped away!

YOU ARE THE GOD OF NOTHING!

Don't really need money unless you're going to play it up beyond level 25-ish, but time is pretty much the bane of every game that has any depth to it.

Yeah, we play on Landroval and we usually only get on during weekends. There are some limitations for a completely 100% free account, however they don't really kick in until later so it's a good way to get used to the game and see if you even care about playing it ^^

Most popular elf class is a hunter. Basically Legolas; bows, long range, large amount of damage after level 12, can help people swiftly travel around the world at higher levels.

Loremasters are a good one as well, but they're a bit harder for beginners to pick up since they don't have a main purpose early on. They are the only free class that's close to a "mage". The class was built around Radagast the Brown, I believe, in that they can control animals (basically a pet summon) and they have staff attacks that deal with the elements of fire, wind, light, as well as "crowd control" (stuns, restrict movement) and various creature augments.

The melee classes are usually better with humans or dwarves, but elves still have an agility bonus so they can be champions, burglars, or even guardians if you prefer.
